Sound, mostly. That's the honest answer. Swapping the section behind the cats opens up the tone your engine was already making and the factory muffler was burying.
Power moves a little. On a naturally aspirated car you're looking at a few horsepower up top, plus weight off the back of the car. Anyone promising you thirty horses from a cat-back is selling something.
What you feel is the character. Throttle response sounds sharper. Cold starts have some bark. The car sounds like what it is.
A boxed kit is designed for the average version of your car. If your car is stock and common, that can work fine.

Full custom work on something unusual takes longer, because we're bending and welding to that specific car. We'll tell you the real timeline before you leave the car, not after.
Florida has no annual safety or emissions inspection for most passenger vehicles. A cat-back leaves your catalytic converters in place, so it does not touch your emissions equipment. Florida does require a working muffler and prohibits excessive noise, so tell us if the car is a daily driver and we will build the tone accordingly.
That is entirely up to how it is built. Highway drone is the complaint we hear most, and it comes down to muffler choice, resonator placement and pipe length. Tell us you daily the car and we build to avoid it. If you want both, ask about a valved setup.
In the United States the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act means a dealer cannot void your entire warranty over an aftermarket part. They can deny a claim if the part caused the failure. A cat-back sits well downstream of the engine, so it is one of the lower-risk modifications.
No. A cat-back sits behind the sensors that the engine computer reads, so the car will run the same. Downpipes are the ones that usually need a tune.
